Dr. Young K. Kim
Dr. Young K. Kim is a surgical prosthodontist who can seamlessly execute both surgical and restorative treatments.
Dr. Kim is one of the very few specialists holding two doctoral degrees: a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), earned after four years of study at Boston University School of Dental Medicine, and a Doctor of Medical Sciences (DMSc), earned after another four years of study at Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
At Harvard, he earned a specialty certificate in prosthodontics after intensive surgical and restorative training, primarily focusing on extremely complex cases of tooth-supported and implant-supported full-mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Kim is currently a clinical assistant professor at New York University College of Dentistry in the Department of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Kim enjoys improving his patients' quality of life by restoring their dental esthetics, occlusion, and function.
He is currently an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Harvard Club of New York City.
